Listening
to the City is an opportunity for
members of the public most affected by the disaster to participate
in a discussion of the future of downtown New York. Attendees
will engage in a conversation on the impact of the events, the
principles that should guide the renewal project, the hard economic
and social realities of rebuilding, and an exploration of the
form a Memorial should take.
This
is the initial event in a series of public dialogues during
the Spring of 2002.
